    Hugh Dunlop is an invited speaker at the Tsinghua University & Harvard University Fourth International Conference on the Intellectual Property Protection of High Technology in Beijing, China on 28-29 October.

    Hugh Dunlop and James Cross plan to attend the AIPLA 2007 Annual Meeting in Washington DC, 18-20 October.

    David Musker lectured on Design Law at Bristol University in September and will be lecturing on European Patent Law and Practice at Queen Mary University London on 30 November. David will be attending the October UNION ExCo and Round Table meeting in the Netherlands, where he will be speaking at the Round Table on copyright.

    David Musker and Reuben Jacob will be attending the November Asian Patent Attorneys Association meeting in Adelaide, Australia, where David has been invited to participate in the Design Committee meeting on the overlap between trade marks and designs.

    Felix Rummler will be a speaker at the IT Innovationstage München on 21-22 November.

    On 1 November we will be holding an evening party to celebrate the opening of our Bristol office. It will be at At-Bristol, Anchor Road, Harbourside, Bristol and will include a planetarium display. Please email ncondon@jenkins.eu to request an invitation.

    Please visit our stand at the UK Nanoforum 2007 conference on 27 November 2007 at the QEII Conference Centre, which is very close to our London office. Neil Condon, whose PhD thesis was in nanotechnology, will be present among other patent professionals.

    We will also be exhibiting at BIO in San Diego in Spring 2008.

    We welcome Kequian “May” Xu who graduated in 2005 with a 1st class honors degree in Electronic and Communication Engineering from The University of Bath. She went on to receive a MSc degree the following year in Communication and Signal Processing from Imperial College, London. She joined Jenkins in 2007 and is training towards qualification as a patent attorney. May is fluent in Mandarin, which is her mother tongue, and she also has a good level of Cantonese.

    同年八月许可谦加入Jenkins,现任职专利代理助理。
